Organizing a film festival of this caliber in Jharkhand is a commendable initiative. By providing a platform for local filmmakers and arranging sessions with industry professionals, you’re fostering a vibrant film culture. This effort will inspire and offer valuable learning opportunities to local talent. My heartfelt congratulations to Mera TV Film Festival and GR8DESIGNS for this outstanding event

Congratulations to the MERATV Film Festival! This groundbreaking event brought together industry professionals and local filmmakers on a shared platform — a first of its kind in Jharkhand. As an FTII alumnus, I understand the importance of such sessions, which were a vital part of our learning but remain rare opportunities for aspiring filmmakers in this region.

The opportunity to watch films, especially documentaries, should always be available. Events like the MERATV Film Festival are a great initiative, and such efforts should continue. I believe that no cinema is truly regional—while a film may focus on a specific region, cinema is for all audiences, whether national or international. It is created for viewers, no matter where they are from.
